‘No longer an island’ series started during first lock down with texture and colour in mind as always but also design and value, something I had picked up from joining Nicholas Wilton’s Art2Life course on line in 2019.
My titles always, well most of the time, come to me near the end of making a painting and this title I felt the United Kingdom was like any other part of the world (island or no island) going through a very difficult time.
